How should I measure for custom curtains?
Confirm where your rod or track will sit, then measure the finished curtain width and finished length you want rather than only measuring the window glass. Review our Measurement Guide before ordering. If you are unsure, email support@novicurt.com before checkout.
Are the curtains sold as a single panel or a pair?
Each quantity includes one finished curtain panel. Select quantity 2 when you need a matching pair. The width and length entered in the configurator apply to one finished panel, so review the dimensions and quantity together before adding to cart.
What width should I enter in the configurator?
Enter the finished curtain width requested by the configurator. The amount of fullness and the finished appearance can vary with the selected fabric and heading style, so do not rely on the window-glass width alone. Check the Measurement Guide or contact us before placing the order if your dimensions are unclear.
Which heading style works with my hardware?
Choose a heading that is compatible with your installed rod or track. Some styles require rings, hooks, or a compatible track, while others fit directly onto a rod. Confirm your hardware and available clearance before selecting a heading.
How do fabric, color, and lining affect light control?
Light control depends on the fabric construction, color, lining option, and how the curtain is installed. Sheer and light-filtering fabrics soften daylight, while denser fabrics and suitable linings provide greater privacy and room darkening. Small gaps around the window can still allow light into the room.
Will the color look exactly the same as it does online?
We aim to represent every fabric accurately, but screen settings, photography, daylight, indoor lighting, fabric texture, and dye-lot variation can affect how a color appears. If an exact match is important, contact us before ordering.
How long will my custom curtains take?
